Election 2023
Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th
What is on the ballot this year in Chester County?
The 2023 election in Chester County is a crucial municipal election. The key offices that have major power over our lives as residents of Chester County are on the ballot.
Our incumbent Chester County Commissioners, Josh Maxwell and Marian Moskowitz, are seeking re-election to a second term after their historic victory in 2019.
Several county row officers are also seeking re-election, including incumbent Prothonotary Debbie Bookman and Register of Wills Michele Vaughn. These offices are instrumental in keeping our county working for all residents with fairness and equity.
There will also be primaries for a number of county-level positions where the incumbents are not seeking re-election, including District Attorney and Recorder of Deeds, as well as a number of open primaries for Court of Common Pleas judges. As Democrats, it is paramount that we support those candidates that we feel represent our values at every level of these county-wide offices.

How can I get involved?
Help candidates get on the ballot
Anyone running for office must first obtain a certain number of petition signatures from registered voters in their district. Volunteers are a huge help in making this possible!
Register voters and get out the vote
Your next township commissioner or school board member could be decided by as few as two votes. Help us get everyone to the polls (or dropbox) by text/phone banking, canvassing, and other outeach!
Volunteer at the polls on Election Day
Be an active part of your community by greeting your neighbors at the polls, sharing candidate information, and helping Election Day go smoothly.
